Marla’s paintings are inspired by the landscape of the Arava and emanate the warmth
and light of the desert. Her forms suggest the movement and energy inherent in nature.

Marla Slott has been painting for over 30 years and has exhibited her
work all over Israel. More recent works include the various manmade
objects that one finds in the desert as a kind of ecological statement.
Born and educated in the United States, she studied art with such
well-known painters as Neil Welliver and Robert Barnes.
